Minister for Industry and Mineral Resources

Ove Karl Berthelsen Born 04th November 1954 in Sisimiut.
Married to Grethe Kramer Berthelsen, have three children and two grandchildren.

Ove Karl Berthelsen was appointed Minister (Naalakkersuisoq) of Industry and Mineral Resources in 2009.

He has an education in commerce and accounting. He has extensive experience in administration and accounting and has been boardmember and director of several companies.

Since the start of Inuit Ataqatigiit, he has been politically active and has in recent years been involved in the daily management of the party and is now in the party's executive committee.

He has been politically elected in Nuup Kommunia and later in Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq, boardmember in KANUKOKA, and active in different committees and councils in the period of 2001 to 2009 until he was appointed as Minister (Naalakkersuisoq).
