The aims of the website

The new website will provide the Home Rule Government with more opportunity to make visible the various political areas of initiative. The new design of the website allows new possibilities with the “focus fields” in which each department can make visible its areas of initiative.

We want to improve our public service with the new website. Under the ”citizens” menu you will be able to find information relating directly to you and your life.

Nanoq.gl is the external face of the Greenland Home Rule and therefore of Greenland. The ”About Greenland” menu is primarily for users from outside Greenland, as well as those looking for student places or others looking for information about Greenland.

The various databases on the website will ensure openness for the different initiatives taken by the Greenland Home Rule. The hearings portal will ensure that the public, enterprises and organisations are up to date about the legislative initiatives taking place in the Greenland Home Rule. Hearing materials and replies will be available here. The publications database will include reports, studies and many other publications.

Access to information will be improved on the new website. The new site has a better search engine so that search results will pop up more rapidly than with the old search engine. The new site also significantly improves contact opportunities so that each page shows where to contact regarding that page.
